From 6th to 9th February, the first Courmayeur design weekend will be held.
The renowned mountain resort, that in 2019 was included in the “Best of the Alps” circuit, i.e. the 13 most famous and exclusive international ski resorts in the Alps, will host an initiative inspired by the famous Milanese Design week adapted to the needs of the territory to create an Aosta valley version reflecting the new reception concept of the Courmayeur town: environment, wellbeing, and culture.
In fact in these four-days, architects, insiders, designers, and design fans will have the opportunity to meet and share their ideas in a context of unparalleled landscape beauty.
In the streets, in shop windows, in the hotel lounges and other public and private venues, installations and iconic objects of the best international design brands will be admired. Acerbis was selected, as well as other design excellences, to take part to this first design week edition.
In this context of creativity and culture, Acerbis seizes the opportunity to show an object designed by one of the fathers of Italian design: Vico Magistretti.
In fact, to celebrate the centenary of the architect’s birth, Acerbis pays homage to the master with an installation in the windows of the smart boutique G&B Negozio in via Roma in the city’s heart. The protagonist will be Spiros, the eye-catching hanger that Magistretti designed in 1987 and that today is part of Acerbis Icons collection.
