Stories

Michela Pelizzari, founder of P:S, has supported Acerbis since the very beginning of its relaunch journey. Over the years, she has helped shape a narrative capable of enhancing the brand’s heritage, amplifying its visibility in the international press and strengthening its dialogue with the design community.

With Palla, its narrative potential was clear from the very first moment. It was not simply a matter of bringing an iconic object back into production, but of demonstrating that a historic design could still express the same strength.

For Michela, telling the story of Acerbis’ heritage means looking at the archive not as a collection of memories, but as a place from which objects and emotions can emerge, capable of speaking to today’s world. For her, being contemporary in communication does not mean chasing trends, but knowing how to read the present and learn from the languages of other worlds in order to speak to new audiences. This is the design-led approach of her agency: identifying the brand’s most authentic codes and making them able to belong to the present, in their language, imagery and messages. Every re-edition therefore begins with the same question: does this design still have something to say? In the case of Acerbis, very often the answer is yes.

Palla demonstrates this clearly. Its strong presence, unmistakable character and contemporary spirit have always been inherent in its proportions, its attitude and the radical way in which it interprets the very idea of comfort.

This is precisely the key through which Michela presents Palla to the international press: not as a nostalgic operation, but as the affirmation of a cultural position. A design born in a moment of extraordinary creative freedom, which still today expresses its inexhaustible strength. Because the most effective stories are not those created to generate visibility, but those that offer an authentic and emotionally engaging narrative.
