Round About Seventies
More than 50 years after its debut, Palla returns as a central presence in the Acerbis collection with Round About Seventies, a project that revisits the bold, pop aesthetic of the 1970s, an era defined by vibrant colours and graphic patterns, introducing a new interpretation of the armchair.
Brionne, the Torri Lana fabric reissued in a modern key, defines the narrative, fully upholstering the armchair and pouf with its vibrant palette and vivid, characteristically Seventies contrasts. Brionne’s bouclé texture enhances the rounded, curved forms, turning Palla’s design into a bold, distinctive presence, capable of shifting from a decorative element to a sophisticated armchair without ever losing its informal attitude. Placed within contemporary interiors, Palla pays tribute to the creative ferment of its time while responding to the new demands of modern living.
The campaign places Palla, in the special Round About Seventies edition, at its centre, creating a choral narrative marked by a sequence of voices and visions in which the armchair moves from one setting to another. Throughout the year, a series of video interviews and photo shoots will offer fresh perspectives on Palla, highlighting its expressive strength and its ability to adapt to different moods without ever losing its identity.
