Apartment in Varese
Designed by the studio of Gregorio Pecorelli, this apartment in Varese tells of a sober and measured elegance, where every design choice arises from the encounter between functionality and aesthetic refinement. The bespoke solutions trace essential volumes, conceived to optimise the spaces and preserve the purity of a minimal character.
The living area opens like a luminous refuge: the light and neutral tones of the surfaces spread an enveloping calm, while natural light becomes an integral part of the project.
Against this essential backdrop, the furnishings introduce chromatic and material accents that bring the environment to life. Designed by Roberto Monsani in the 1970s, the Life sofa welcomes with its generous feather cushions upholstered in velvet, offering comfort and visual intensity. Opposite, the Lokum side tables intertwine transparencies and reflections: the blown glass filters the light, creating nuances of colour and softening the rigour of the composition.
In this context, order and poetry coexist: each element becomes part of a balanced composition, where the present dialogues with the historicity of Italian design, transforming the house into an intimate and refined landscape.
