Designed by Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces, Ebi stems from a study of the curvature of wood, a constructive and formal element that defines the entire project. Its aesthetic is grounded in the continuity between the upper and lower parts of the structure: above, an arch shapes the backrest and armrest; below, a sled base echoes its curvature. Ebi is available with either an open backrest, which highlights the purity of its design, or a fully upholstered high back, offering greater comfort and a more elegant, sophisticated aesthetic. Its sinuous profile is enhanced by wood veneer or glossy lacquered finishes, a fil rouge running through Acerbis products, and by a variety of upholstery options that further extend its ability to fit naturally into different settings.
Product plus
The backrest is made of curved plywood, padded withpolyurethane and upholstered in fabric or leather.The seat is made with a plywood panel frame fitted with elasticstraps, padded with polyurethane and upholstered in fabric orleather.The upholstery of the backrest and seat is not removable.
The structure is available in wood or lacquered finishes:
_ solid ash in black-stained ash and dark walnut-stained ash;
_ solid beech with glossy lacquer finish in dark green, bordeauxand black.
The woodwork requires a high degree of craftsmanship andensures the quality and authenticity of the product.Any differences in colour and variations in the grain are to beconsidered natural characteristics of the material.
