Ségur apartment in Paris
Located in Paris’s 7th arrondissement, an elegant district on the Rive Gauche, the Ségur apartment is set within a refined context, close to some of the city’s most celebrated landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides. The understated elegance of its surroundings is reflected in a luminous and measured interior, defined by a sophisticated palette of natural materials. Materic surfaces, warm woods and carefully balanced textures define a harmonious sequence of spaces, where light and proportion establish a coherent rhythm throughout the apartment. Designed by Mersi, Ségur appears essential at first glance, yet reveals careful attention to every detail. At the centre of the dining area, a vintage Serenissimo table introduces a strong architectural presence. The transparent glass top rests on cylindrical columns finished in encausto, creating a precise balance between monumentality and visual lightness. The base’s delicate green tone adds material depth and a chromatic accent, engaging naturally with the warmth of the oak and the neutral tones of the interior.
