Acerbis at the first museum exhibition dedicated to Sabine Marcelis
From October 30, 2026, to April 4, 2027, the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich presents Sabine Marcelis – Light and Color, the first museum exhibition dedicated to the designer.
One of the most influential voices in contemporary design, Sabine Marcelis explores the relationship between light, color, and material through a practice at the intersection of design, art, and architecture. This approach also led to her collaboration with Acerbis, for which she designed Lokum, a collection of blown-glass side tables, in 2024.
Curated by Damian Fopp, the exhibition brings together fifteen years of creative exploration through a selection of works and installations, including an installation featuring Lokum, reflecting the designer’s experimentation with the expressive qualities of glass and light.
